Soybean Farmers' Chemical Use, Production Costs to be Surveyed
USAgNet - 09/29/2020

The USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service will soon be gathering information about farm economics and production practices from soybean producers across the country. As part of the 2020 Agricultural Resource Management Survey, the agency will conduct the survey in-person starting as early as October, and recommends that farmers have their fertilizer and pesticide spray records available to provide accurate data.

NASS is reaching out to over 4,000 soybean growers across the nation.

Data provided by farmers is confidential and protected by law. NASS further safeguards the privacy of all respondents by publishing only aggregate data, ensuring that no individual operation or producer can be identified.
