Register for Midwest Buyers Mission
Michigan Ag Connection - 05/22/2018
The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is encouraging state businesses to position themselves and their products in front of pre-qualified, experienced international buyers who continue to seek the latest food trends and products from the United States.
Register early as meeting slots are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. It's the perfect low-cost opportunity to meet buyers from established and emerging markets in one place.
Registration deadlines for the Aug. 1 mission in East Lansing are:
- Early registration deadline: June 1 - $250
- Registration deadline: June 18 - $300
People on the mission will meet with buyers fro over 10 countries. This low-cost mission includes up to 10 one-on-one meetings with buyers, the option to meet with Food Export's In-Market Representatives and the Food Export Helpline Counselor. The cost covers two company representatives and a networking lunch session.
Products of interest include:
- Retail and food service products
- Private label
- Fresh/organic/healthy
- Sweet and savory snacks
- Frozen/chilled products
- Specialty/gourmet
