GreenStone Investing in Youth Through $25,000 FFA Donation

GreenStone Farm Credit Services supports the Michigan FFA's mission of instilling character in youth through education in agriculture and providing members with leadership opportunities. The member-owned cooperative is a long-time contributor of the FFA Foundation and recently donated $25,000 to provide educational opportunities for tomorrow's leaders.

The Michigan FFA Foundation offers over 8,100 students throughout Michigan's 109 chapters the chance to strengthen leadership skills, develop career preparation and offer hands-on learning through agricultural experiences. GreenStone's donation provides assistance of fulfilling the foundation's drive to equip members with professional skills needed for future success.

"Michigan FFA is deeply grateful for the continued support of our friends at GreenStone. As leaders in agriculture financial services, GreenStone understands the value of youth leadership, personal growth and career readiness, as well as the importance of educating future generations on our state's vast agricultural landscape," says Kyle Schaberg, assistant director of development for the Michigan FFA Foundation. "During our longtime partnership, GreenStone has sponsored everything from ag skills contests and proficiency awards, to leadership contests and conferences. GreenStone's continued investment demonstrates their commitment to future Michigan leaders and Michigan FFA is sincerely appreciative of their efforts."

GreenStone's goal of cultivating students through educational and career development programs aligns directly with the Michigan FFA Foundation. Striving to be an advocate for the agriculture industry, starting with the youth, GreenStone is grateful to give back to an organization that assists students with continued education and development of invaluable skills in the community.
