The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), Water Resources Division (WRD), announced the Michigan Coastal Management Program (MCMP) 2024 Grant Funding Opportunity (GFO). As a program, the MCMP plans for growth and change in coastal communities; protects, preserves, restores, enhances, and wisely develops coastal areas for use and enjoyment to improve quality of life; and builds partnerships to create networks that strengthen and expand the collective impact of effective and efficient coastal management. The MCMP seeks to enhance the preparedness and resiliency of coastal communities and their capacity to mitigate the impacts of coastal hazards.
