Registration is open for the September 8 conference that will highlight systems and practices that improve soil-plant health, improve fruit quality and maximize ecosystem services and profitability.
Registration is now open for the second annual Perennial Farm Ecosystem Conference in Sutton’s Bay, MI, hosted by the Leelanau Conservation District. The event will take place on Friday, September 8 at the Leelanau Government Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend, especially commercial growers, hobby farmers or gardeners and agricultural consultants.
This event is sponsored by MI SARE (Michigan Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education), MAEAP (Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program) and Michigan Farm Bureau. It will feature speakers from Cornell University, the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, the University of Missouri and NEWAGE Laboratories and Agricultural Services.
