The 2025 Agricultural Exporter of the Year Award is now open for applications. This annual recognition honors businesses that have shown outstanding success in expanding their agricultural exports.
Eligible applicants include producers, manufacturers, and shippers of food, agriculture, and forest products that are actively engaging in international trade. To qualify, over 50 percent of the exported product must be grown, processed, or manufactured within the state. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to apply. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025.
This award highlights the growing impact of locally produced agricultural goods in global markets. The state's agricultural sector continues to thrive internationally, contributing to economic growth. Recognizing successful exporters helps encourage more businesses to explore opportunities beyond domestic borders.
The award program began in 2006, acknowledging companies that excel in international trade. Previous winners have demonstrated innovation and strong export strategies, helping promote local products worldwide. The most recent recipient, Banks Hardwoods, was celebrated for its success in expanding into global markets.
