This fall, a series of FREE educational webinars will delve into USDA insurance programs, providing farmers with cost-effective tools to mitigate the impact of various risks.
The webinars, presented online, will cover specific Michigan production areas, including fruit, dairy, field crops, and more. Each session will equip farmers with a fundamental understanding of different insurance programs, how they offer protection, and the specific advantages they bring. By grasping the nuances of these programs, Michigan farms can make informed decisions that align with their unique challenges and requirements.
Guest speakers and panelists from the insurance industry, including Greenstone Farm Credit Services, Michigan Farm Bureau, independent agencies, and university experts, will contribute to several sessions, offering valuable insights.
