Michigan Farm Bureau Joins Forces to Advocate for 2023 Farm Bill

Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) has joined hands with more than 30 groups to spearhead the "Farm Bill for America's Families: Sustaining Our Future" campaign. With the call to pass the 2023 Farm Bill, this campaign brings together stakeholders who recognize the far-reaching impact of the farm bill on all Americans' well-being.

The primary goal of the "Farm Bill for America's Families" campaign is to engage consumers, leaders, and lawmakers in advocating for five core objectives. These objectives include ensuring food security, generating employment opportunities, promoting conservation practices, effective risk management, and addressing the pressing issue of hunger.

At the heart of this movement is the recognition that the success of farmers and ranchers plays a crucial role in safeguarding our nation's food safety, availability, and affordability. The campaign unites various organizations, including the American Farm Bureau Federation, American Seed Trade Association, Ducks Unlimited, and Feeding America, among others.

With the collective efforts of these stakeholders, the "Farm Bill for America's Families" campaign seeks to create a thriving and sustainable food system that benefits all Americans, present and future. By emphasizing the significance of the farm bill, this united front strives to ensure that American agriculture continues to provide for the well-being and prosperity of the entire nation.
