Registration Open for Annual Midwest Chestnut Meeting

The Midwest Chestnut Producers Council annual meeting on March 18-19 at the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station, 3700 E Gull Lake Drive, Hickory Corners, is held in collaboration with Michigan State University Extension. This event is open to the public and offers a great opportunity for both novice and veteran chestnut growers to learn from each other and MSU faculty. This meeting serves as the premier networking and educational event for the Michigan chestnut industry and includes 1.5 days of grower-curated programming. The educational sessions include grower presentations, pest management topics, orchard management presentations and open forums for discussion on topics of interest. View the draft meeting agenda for more details.

Preregistration is required and payment will be collected at the door. Registration closes on March 10, so sign up today by visiting http://msu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_aghHlaJaRbHIIlw. Registration is $175 for Midwest Chestnut Producers Council members and $250 for nonmembers. Registration includes meals, materials and the evening mixer. Each attendee must register separately. Lodging is not included.

To become an MCPC member, download and complete the Midwest chestnut producers council membership registration form at http://msu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_aghHlaJaRbHIIlw. The MCPC board will hold a business meeting as part of the annual meeting and asks that attendees consider serving on the board.
