Thumb Area Crop, Pest Management Update Feb. 1

Join Michigan State University Extension at the Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center, 3775 S. Reese Rd, Frankenmuth for the 2022 Crop and Pest Management Update on Feb. 1. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and will run until 3 p.m. MSU Extension experts will be onsite to talk about how to manage pests in your fields. Everyone is invited, especially farmers, crop consultants and agribusiness professionals.

Registration is encouraged prior to Jan. 25 to ensure adequate supplies are available. For $35 you will receive lunch, a 2022 MSU Weed Control Guide for Field Crops and the newly revised MSU Insect Control Guide. The guides are compliments of Michigan Corn, Michigan Soybean Committee and Michigan Wheat.

Also available will be six RUP and six CCA credits.

This meeting will be an opportunity for participants to meet the two new field crop educators in the area, Jenna Falor and Kaleb Ortner.
