A Greek company developing and producing snacks and crackers, announced the expansion of its activities in the United States with the start of a new production unit. The subsidiary named SnackCraft LLC will be headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Unismack is active in the production and distribution of snack and cracker products, placing emphasis on the research and development of "better-for-you" products of high nutritional value with recipes adapted to customer requirements. In the company's factory located in Northern Greece, snacks and crackers are produced exclusively without gluten, nuts and allergens, entirely from natural ingredients such as flour from lentils, chickpeas or vegetables, whole grain rice, corn, ancient seeds and herbs.
The company enjoys global recognition for its quality products, as its exports amount to 98% of production, covering major markets such as USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia and Japan.

Joseph Riley, CEO of SnackCraft stated, "The new Michigan facility will produce oven-baked crackers, tortilla chips, extrusion snacks as well as pellet snacks such as vegetable chips. The facilities will also include an innovation centre, which will help research and develop new products to meet changing consumer needs and preferences. SnackCraft will also provide warehousing and 3 PL services to its customers."
