Agriculture for Tomorrow Conference in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

Michigan State University Extension invites farmers, landowners, and agriculture enthusiasts to the 2024 Agriculture for Tomorrow Conference. Held on February 20 at Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba, this event promises a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities.

What to Expect:

• Diverse Sessions: Choose from 16 sessions tailored to different farm types, including large-scale, small-scale, conventional, organic, diversified, and homestead (non-commercial) operations.

• Keynote Address: Dr. Russell Magnaghi, a UP Historian, will delve into over 125 years of UP agricultural history. Learn about Leo Geismar, the First Superintendent of MSU’s Upper Peninsula Research and Extension Center.

• Early Bird Discount: Register before February 10 to save $10. The registration fee is $30 (online or by mail).

• Sponsor/Exhibit Opportunities: Agricultural companies and non-profits can participate. Sponsorships of $50+ include a complimentary trade show booth and conference registration.
