The Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development is now accepting applications for a one-time farm stress grant program.
This program expands upon Michigan farm stress programming and allows further assistance for individuals engaged in farming, ranching, and other agriculture-related occupations.
Grant proposals must be received by 3 p.m. (EST) on May 6.
The program will award one grant for $225,000, with no match requirement. The farm stress proposals will be evaluated through a competitive selection process. Applications for grant funds will be asked to outline how the project will impact and produce measurable outcomes around the farm stress program for Michigan's food and agriculture industry.
