Michigan State University Extension invites you to the Christmas Tree Summer Field Day on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the MSU Horticulture Teaching and Research Center in Holt, MI. Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights into weed management, pruning and shearing techniques, and the latest research updates in Christmas tree production.

Key Highlights:

Weed Management: Learn how to identify weed species and discover effective control options. Explore herbicide trials and observe the performance of different products crucial for successful tree production.

Pruning and Shearing: Understand the importance of pruning and shearing decisions in enhancing tree value at harvest. Witness a demonstration on fixing deer-damaged trees and acquire essential skills in Christmas tree shearing and pruning.
