Webinar to Guide Farmers on Bulletins Live Two Use

Webinar to Guide Farmers on Bulletins Live Two Use

By Andi Anderson

Farmers and pesticide applicators across the U.S. should prepare for changes to pesticide labels that aim to protect endangered species and sensitive habitats.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has introduced a new system, Bulletins Live! Two, which identifies specific pesticide use limitations based on product type, location, and timing.

To help users navigate this system, Michigan State University Extension is offering a free instructional webinar on May 22, 2025, available at two times: 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. The content will be the same in both sessions and will include live demonstrations of how to use the Bulletins Live! Two online tool.

Bulletins Live! Two is designed to replace broad, national pesticide use restrictions with more targeted, geographic and seasonal guidelines. This ensures pesticide applications avoid harm to threatened or endangered species only when and where needed. The system aims to balance agricultural productivity with ecological protection.

The upcoming webinar will walk participants through how to search for and understand location-specific pesticide use instructions, helping ensure full compliance with EPA regulations.

Interested individuals can register for the webinar on the MSU Extension website: Bulletins Live! Two Webinar
