Senate Ag Committee to Hold Trade Hearing

U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Chairman Pat Roberts of Kansas and Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow of Michigan Wednesday announced the Committee will hold a hearing titled, "Certainty in Global Markets for the U.S. Agriculture Sector."

Those testifying include:

- Gregg Doud, Chief Agricultural Negotiator, Office of the United States Trade Representative, Washington, D.C.

- Ted McKinney, Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs, United States Department of Agriculture, Washington, D.C.

- Dr. Robert Johansson, Chief Economist, Office of Chief Economist, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington, D.C.

The hearing will be held June 13 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in 328A Russell Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.

The hearing will be webcast live on ag.senate.gov.
