AGCO Corporation and SDF have announced a new supply partnership to expand the low- to mid-horsepower tractor market under the Massey Ferguson brand. The agreement will allow SDF to produce proprietary tractors up to 85 horsepower for AGCO, starting mid-2025.

Expanding Market Reach

This strategic partnership strengthens Massey Ferguson’s presence in the low- to mid-horsepower tractor segment. By offering a streamlined product lineup, the brand can reach more farmers worldwide with reliable and cost-effective solutions.

According to Luis Felli, Senior Vice President of Massey Ferguson, this partnership aligns with the company’s Farmer-First approach by delivering high-quality and dependable equipment that improves productivity and profitability.

Manufacturing and Production Efficiency

SDF’s vertically integrated production system ensures efficient manufacturing and innovation. Alessandro Maritano, SDF’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the value of in-house expertise in designing and producing core tractor components, ensuring high-quality output.

The tractors will feature various powertrain options to meet the diverse needs of customers and markets.

Strengthening Global Presence

Both companies expect this collaboration to drive growth by leveraging economies of scale, cost-efficient production, and best-in-class manufacturing. The partnership also aims to enhance customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

This AGCO-SDF alliance marks a significant step in expanding tractor accessibility, ensuring farmers worldwide receive advanced and affordable machinery to support their operations.
