The Ottawa Conservation District is inviting bids for a pesticide supply contract to support an ongoing invasive species management initiative. This opportunity is part of the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Project, which is funded through the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and Landscape Scale Restoration programs.
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing pesticides to the West Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (WMCISMA). The project focuses on controlling the spread of invasive pests, particularly those threatening hemlock tree populations across the region.
The contract is set to begin immediately upon signing and will remain valid until December 31, 2027. Interested suppliers are encouraged to submit their quotes before the deadline, which is the close of business on April 14, 2025.
This bid request offers a long-term partnership opportunity for companies involved in environmental pesticide supply and supports broader efforts to protect local ecosystems from invasive species damage.
Detailed information about the bid submission process and contract requirements can be found on the Ottawa Conservation District’s official website: ottawacd.org/requests-for-bids.
Participants are advised to review the requirements carefully and ensure timely submission of their bids.
