By Andi Anderson

The 2025 Michigan State University (MSU) Weed Tour will take place on Wednesday, June 25, at the MSU Agronomy Farm in Lansing. This annual event invites growers, researchers, and agricultural professionals to explore research plots and participate in educational field presentations.

The day begins with registration and morning refreshments from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., followed by a guided tour of corn and soybean weed control research plots starting at 9:30 a.m. The morning session will conclude with a complimentary lunch.

After lunch, participants are invited to join the Non-GMO Soybean Weed Control Tour at 12:30 p.m. This session will highlight unique weed management challenges and solutions in Non-GMO systems.

Registration is $30 per participant and includes lunch and a tour booklet. Online preregistration is required and will close on June 18. On-site registration is available for $40.

Recertification credits have been requested for Certified Crop Advisors and holders of Private and Commercial Pesticide Applicator Licenses, including Core and Category 1A.

New for 2025, the Michigan Wheat Program will host its Wheat Field Day the same afternoon, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the MSU Plant Pathology Farm. Attendees can opt to participate in both the Weed Tour and the Wheat Field Day during online registration.

This event offers a valuable opportunity to learn about current weed control research, gain practical insights, and connect with other agricultural professionals.
