According to a new statewide study conducted by John Dunham, the wine and grape industry in Michigan contributes $5.4 billion to the state's economy. In the state of Michigan, northwest Michigan has the highest concentration of wine grapes, and due to climate condition in some years, grape growers and winemakers are facing some challenges.
