Michigan Seeks Outstanding Ag Exporter

Calling all Michigan agricultural exporters! Do you proudly represent the state's food, agriculture, or forestry industries on the global stage? Now's your chance to shine! The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) is accepting applications for the prestigious 2024 Ag Exporter of the Year Award.

This annual award recognizes businesses that have demonstrated exceptional achievement in export growth. If at least half of your products are grown, processed, or manufactured in Michigan, and you're actively expanding your international markets, you're eligible to apply.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Who can apply: Michigan agriculture, food, and forestry producers, manufacturers, and shippers engaged in exporting.
  • What's required: Applications are due by March 29th, 2024 (5:00 p.m. EST). Details and application forms can be found on the MDARD website.
