Oakland University Esports Partners with United Dairy Industry of Michigan

Oakland University Esports Partners with United Dairy Industry of Michigan

Great news for farmers! The United Dairy Industry of Michigan (UDIM) and Oakland University Athletics have joined forces to promote the goodness of dairy products. UDIM is now the official sponsor of Oakland University Esports, and they will also work together to educate students about the nutritional benefits of dairy.

This partnership is a big step for both organizations. UDIM's support will help Oakland University Esports thrive, just like it does for other varsity sports. As the official sponsor, UDIM's logos will be displayed on Golden Grizzlies' competitor sleeves, and they will have a presence during events and on social media.

Not only that, but UDIM will distribute milk at least twice a year during student events. The Esports team will also receive guidance on the best nutrition for performance from UDIM, and they will have the chance to visit a Michigan farm for a special photo and video shoot.

Oakland Esports Head Coach, Carl Leone, expressed excitement about the partnership and how much his players love having chocolate milk before matches. Chocolate milk is known for providing essential nutrients and benefits for athletes.

Sarah Woodside, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at UDIM, stated how proud they are to partner with Oakland University. They believe in educating students about sports nutrition and supplying nutritious fuel to help the Esports gamers perform their best.

Oakland University's Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. squads have already shown their prowess by winning titles in the NACE Varsity Premier Star League.

This partnership is a win-win for everyone involved and showcases the importance of dairy in sports nutrition. As US farmers, let's celebrate this positive step and the growing recognition of dairy's goodness in the world of sports.
