Extension educator-crops, Bob Koch, Extension soybean entomologist, and Dave Nicolai, Extension educator-crops, invite agricultural professionals to attend the 2025 Field School for Ag Professionals. This immersive program will take place on July 29 and 30 at the University of Minnesota Agriculture Experiment Station in St. Paul.
Early bird registration is available until May 31, with discounted rates designed to encourage early commitment and guarantee class size caps that allow ample interaction with instructors.
Past participant comment “I have not found a more comprehensive exchange on crop physiology, plant pathology, weed science, entomology and nutrient management. The field school is entirely hands-on learning and occurs in one location.”
The event targets a wide range of industry roles, including crop production retailers, seed dealers, consultants, and extension educators. Attendees can register for one or both days. The first day offers in-depth exploration of essential agronomic concepts, such as soil properties, weed science, and corn and soybean growth, along with disease and pest management topics. Participants will earn six Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) credits for this session.
On the second day, participants can personalize their learning by selecting up to six specialized topics from a diverse set of options, which include advanced crop diagnostics, manure management, weed seedling identification, cover crop strategies, and more. Another six CCA credits can be earned through these sessions.
