CNH Industrial Partners with One Smart Spray to Bring Advanced Technology to Michigan's Agriculture Equipment Sector

CNH Industrial, a prominent player in the agricultural equipment industry, has joined forces with One Smart Spray, a joint venture between Bosch and BASF, to integrate an advanced spraying system into its portfolio of agricultural equipment. This collaboration aims to bring cutting-edge technology to Michigan's farming community.

Through this partnership, CNH Industrial plans to make the advanced spraying system commercially available through its globally recognized brands, Case IH and New Holland Agriculture, providing Michigan farmers with enhanced precision and automated spraying capabilities. The system will utilize multiple cameras installed on the sprayer's boom to enable green-on-green and green-on-brown weed detection, allowing for selective spraying.

The integration of One Smart Spray's system offers a range of benefits for Michigan farmers. The system combines precision spraying with digital tools and agronomic insights that can be accessed through mobile devices. Farmers will have access to detailed weed maps, real-time tracking of inputs and cost savings, as well as automated reports and data. With an impressive application accuracy of over 95%, the system ensures clean fields while maximizing herbicide savings, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

The flexibility of the integrated system allows farmers in Michigan to customize their spraying operations based on their specific needs, extending their operating windows and improving overall productivity. By leveraging One Smart Spray's advanced technology, CNH Industrial aims to support Michigan farmers in optimizing their crop management practices, enhancing efficiency, and promoting sustainable agriculture in the region.
