Maximizing Farm Records: Empowering Women in Agriculture

Michigan State University Extension is hosting the "Optimizing Your Farm Records Series for Women in Agriculture" in July and August. This two-part seminar series aims to provide women in agriculture with strategies to maximize their farm recordkeeping. The meetings, held in Beith Park, Caro, offer a supportive environment where women can learn and connect with other farmers.

The first session, taking place on July 12, focuses on understanding your farm's true cash position and its implications for financial stability. The second session, scheduled for August 15, delves into evaluating your farm's profitability and utilizing records to gain valuable insights into its financial health.

The program welcomes children and provides activities coordinated by the Tuscola County 4-H program, allowing parents to participate fully. Greenstone Farm Credit Services has partnered with Michigan State University Extension to cover the cost of dinner, which will be pizza.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all attendees, pre-registration is required. Interested participants can register online, and for any inquiries, they can reach out to Cathy Patterson at the Tuscola County Michigan State University Extension office.

Don't miss this opportunity to optimize your farm records and gain valuable financial insights while connecting with fellow women in agriculture. Join the seminar series and take a step towards maximizing your farm's potential.
