Michigan State University Extension will host the 2024 Integrated Crop and Pest Management Update on Dec. 17, 2024.
The event, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options, will take place at the STEM Teach and Learning Facility in East Lansing, Michigan.
This annual event provides critical updates for farmers, agronomists, and industry professionals, featuring insights on soil fertility, pest control, crop disease, and emerging agricultural trends. Participants will receive the updated 2025 Michigan State University Weed Control Guide for Field Crops.

The event agenda runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring presentations from university specialists and industry leaders:
Commodity Updates: Michigan Wheat Program, Michigan Soybean Association, and Michigan Corn.
Research Insights: Updates on soil fertility, nematode and disease management, agronomy, and insect pest control.
Breakout Sessions: Precision agriculture, input market strategies, and forage research.
Guest Speakers: Experts like Eric Anderson on soybean research and Marty Chilvers on crop disease.
