TYM Launches Series 5 Compact Tractors

By Jamie Martin

TYM North America is beginning its 75th diamond anniversary with major product and marketing initiatives. Since its founding in 1951 in South Korea, TYM has expanded globally through engineering innovation and manufacturing expertise. The company now assembles and distributes tractors in more than 40 countries.

In the United States, TYM operates four key assembly and training facilities located in Georgia, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Oregon. These locations support a wide network of authorized dealers across the United States and Canada, ensuring reliable service and customer satisfaction.

To mark the milestone, TYM unveiled two new high-horsepower compact utility tractors in its Series 5 lineup: the T5068 and the T5074.

The T5068 is powered by a 68-horsepower DEUTZ engine and delivers 3,122 pounds of loader lift capacity. It includes advanced hydraulic functionality, external three-point switch control, and a comfortable cab with climate control. The MY TYM telematics system is standard, helping operators monitor performance and improve efficiency.

The T5074 is powered by a 74-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine and provides 3,494 pounds of lift capacity. Designed for simplicity, it offers essential features such as a mechanical telescopic three-point hitch and standard loader joystick. The model targets customers seeking straightforward, dependable performance.

"We designed the T5068 to meet the demands of modern operators, and we packed it with useful standard features. For example, we included a 6-port hydraulic Walvoil® 6P and a 2-button joystick all standard to run more complex implements like a grapple or post-hole digger," said Keith Wainwright, Director of Marketing, Product Strategy, and Sales Planning.

In addition to the tractor launch, TYM announced a 2026 sponsorship with ThorSport Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The partnership will feature two-time champion Ben Rhodes and aims to increase national awareness of the TYM brand.

"We are honored to welcome Ben Rhodes not only as a TYM–backed driver, but also as a new TYM tractor owner—officially joining the TYM family on and off the track. With ThorSport Racing's championship pedigree and Ben's proven talent, we anticipate an unforgettable 2026 season and a winning partnership for years to come," said Richard Mancinelli, North America Marketing Leader.

With product innovation and expanded marketing efforts, TYM will enter its next 75 years focused on quality engineering, customer commitment, and continued growth.
