Unlock Growth with Dairy Business Builder Grants

Calling all small and medium-sized dairy farmers, manufacturers, or processors in the Midwest! Don't miss the chance presented by the Dairy Business Builder grants from the Dairy Business Innovation Alliance (DBIA). These grants offer financial support of up to $100,000 to foster the expansion and diversification of dairy businesses.

Grant Details:

  • Funding: Up to $100,000 in reimbursement funding is available.
  • Purposes: The grants can be used for various purposes, including diversifying on-farm activities, creating value-added products, enhancing dairy byproducts, and establishing or improving dairy export programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for a Dairy Business Builder grant, you must be a small- or medium-sized dairy farmer, manufacturer, or processor located in one of the following states:

  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Iowa
  • Kansas
  • Michigan
  • Minnesota
  • Missouri
  • Nebraska
  • Ohio
  • South Dakota
  • Wisconsin

How to Apply:

Follow these simple steps to apply for the Dairy Business Builder grants:

  • Visit the DBIA website at cdr.wisc.edu/dbia to download the application materials.
  • Attend an informational webinar hosted by DBIA staff on Tuesday, February 7, at 1:00 p.m. (CT).
  • Submit your application by 5:00 p.m. (CT) on April 4.
