AGCO has unveiled a new Parts Distribution Center in Visalia, California, marking a significant investment in customer service and agricultural support across the western United States.
The 115,000-square-foot facility opened on Sept. 1, 2026, and replaces the company's previous distribution site in the region. The expanded center more than doubles AGCO's parts storage capacity on the West Coast, helping place critical replacement components closer to dealers and producers.
"We reimagined every step of how parts move, from receiving to shipping, and built the systems to match, including advanced automation, smarter forecasting and a deeper local inventory," said Stefan Caspari, Senior Vice President, Customer Success and North American Ag, AGCO. "For our dealers and farmers, this means more of the parts they need are on the shelf and closer to home, giving them greater confidence that the right part will be there when it matters most."
Improved access to parts is expected to reduce delays and help farmers keep machinery operating efficiently throughout the year. Faster delivery times can be especially valuable during peak production periods when equipment availability is essential.
The facility was designed with modern logistics technology, including warehouse automation, advanced inventory forecasting, and upgraded material-handling systems. These improvements allow AGCO to manage a broader range of high-demand parts while improving overall efficiency.
Strategically located in California's Central Valley, the center serves dealers and customers across the western U.S. and supports AGCO's portfolio of agricultural equipment brands, including Fendt™ and Massey Ferguson™.
The project also incorporates sustainability-focused infrastructure. Rooftop solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations are among the features intended to support long-term operational efficiency and environmental goals.
According to AGCO, the center was developed after four years of planning and analysis. The investment represents part of the company's broader strategy to strengthen support services and improve ownership experience for farmers.
For agricultural equipment dealers, expanded local inventory can help accelerate repairs and maintenance by providing quicker access to essential parts. This can help minimize downtime and keep farming operations productive.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for early 2027. The new Visalia facility positions AGCO to better serve growers and equipment owners while supporting future growth across the western agricultural market.
