Master Water Management for Corn & Soybeans - Michiana Conference

By Andi Anderson

Michigan State University and Purdue University are joining forces for the Michiana Irrigated Corn and Soybean Conference on Feb. 26, 2024, at the Blue Gate Theatre in Shipshewana, IN. With a focus on water use and its effects on nutrient, weed, disease, and insect management in corn and soybeans, this conference offers valuable insights for agricultural professionals.

The agenda, running from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., covers various topics, including disease management, controlling Johnsongrass, disappearing insects, irrigation scheduling experiences, crop nutrient management, worker protection standards, soybean best practices, water supply assessment, and an irrigation research update.

Participants can earn credits, including four Michigan restricted-use pesticide and five certified crop advisory credits, with opportunities for Indiana CCH (Cat 1, Cat 14, RT) and PARP (1) credits.

Thanks to the support of the Michigan Soybean Committee and Corn Marketing Program of Michigan, early bird registration by Feb. 18 is only $20 (increasing to $30 afterward). Don't miss this chance to enhance your knowledge and network with fellow professionals. Register at http://bit.ly/michiana-irrigated.
