Verndale Products, a family-owned and operated business with over 64 years of experience, will utilize the $5 million loan to upgrade its dairy manufacturing plants. The investment will enable the company to purchase and install advanced equipment, doubling its production capabilities. Verndale Products specializes in rolled whole milk powder, catering primarily to premium chocolate manufacturers across North America.

USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack emphasized the importance of these investments in expanding market access and revenue streams for agricultural producers.
