A new survey for collecting data on Honeycrisp apple production is available to growers.
Internal browning of Honeycrisp apples was reported in 2022 by many growers in Michigan. The cause of this problem is currently not understood and is being investigated by Michigan State University Extension. An anonymous survey was developed to collect data about Honeycrisp block conditions, management and presence/absence of internal browning. If you are a Michigan Honeycrisp apple producer, please take this survey. The information you provide will greatly assist us in our efforts to determine the cause of this issue.
