Agriscience Opportunities Await Local School Administrators

Agriscience Opportunities Await Local School Administrators

The Michigan FFA Alumni is excited to invite local school administrators to the 96th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis. Formerly known as the Michigan FFA Alumni's Administrators Experience, this trip offers a unique and eye-opening opportunity for school leaders to explore the significance of agriscience programming.

For county Farm Bureaus, sponsoring attendees for this event is an excellent way to invest in local agriscience education, especially if any of the following scenarios apply:

1. Lack of Familiarity: Your school district leadership is not familiar with agriscience, and you want to introduce them to the potential of agriscience and FFA opportunities.

2. Starting or Refreshing a Program: Your community is interested in starting a new agriscience program or revitalizing an existing one.

3. New School Counselor: The school counselor, as the schedule coordinator and career-tech-ed (CTE) director, would benefit from understanding the value of agriscience education.

The Administrators Experience offers a comprehensive learning experience about agriscience education and programs. Participants will attend National FFA Convention sessions, engage with local FFA members, and have the chance to network and exchange ideas with other Michigan school administrators and agriscience supporters.

Important Details:

- Registration: August 1 to September 15. Only eight spots available, so secure your seat by paying in full.

- Trip Dates: November 1-2

- Cost: $600, including transportation, lodging, registration, and meals.

If you have any questions or wish to register, please contact Lance Fowler at 989-763-9074 or Burt Henry at 989-640-2233. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the world of agriscience education and its potential impact on your school community.
